Certain documents may need to be placed on a "hold" for a variety of reasons, including audits and lawsuits. There is Document Retention Hold feature in pVault®.
When a retention hold is placed on a document, the status is set to “read-only” and the document cannot be altered or deleted from pVault until the retention hold is released.
