You can insert invoice transactions as a grid directly onto lien waiver documents.
1.From Manage Greenlight, click the Company Lookup Tables tab.
2.Click Waiver Forms.
A window similar to the following displays:
3.Verify that the required lien waivers display.
4.If the lien waiver you need does not already display as expected, click the button to search for it .
Important: The Word document must be set up before you import it into Greenlight. For details, skip to the subtopic: Formatting the Lien Waiver Document for the Merge
5.Once the document is properly formatted, click .
6.Click Save.
7.Close Manage Greenlight.
8.From Greenlight, in the left navigation bar, click the job listed under the Active Jobs heading.
9.From the Job Info tab, click the Lien Waiver Config tab.
A screen similar to the following displays:
10. Verify the appropriate Default Forms fields are populated in the Waiver Information pane.
11. Return to Manage Greenlight.
12. Click the Company Lookup Tables tab.
13. Click Waiver Forms.
The Waiver Forms dialog box displays:
14. Click .
The Waiver Form Field Mapping dialog box displays:
15. Click .
The dialog box with Field Name and associated Map Column entries populated.
16. Click .
17. Close out of Manage Greenlight.
18. From Greenlight, in the left navigation bar, click the job listed under the Active Jobs heading.
19. From the Job Info tab, click the Lien Waivers tab.
20. Click the Lien Waivers tab.
A screen similar to the following displays:
21. Notice the Invoices grid in the lower left portion of the screen. This is the grid that will display on the lien waiver document.
22. In the upper pane, click on the vendor whose invoice information you want to merge onto the lien waiver document.
23. Use your cursor to scroll all the way to the right.
24. Click the Preview icon, . to verify the lien waiver includes the invoice transactions list.
25. Close the previewed document.
26. Use the icons to print or email the document where necessary.
Formatting the Lien Waiver Document for the Merge
1.Open the lien waiver document in Word.
2.Click in the document where you would like the invoice transaction list to display.
3.In the toolbar, click Insert.
4.Click to open the Quick Parts dropdown menu.
5.Click Field.
The following dialog box will display:
6.In the Field Names text grid, scroll to Merge Field.
7.In the Field properties dialog box, Field name field, type: invoice transaction list
8.Click OK.
The lien waiver will redisplay with <<invoice transaction list>> displaying where, in the document, you indicated the list should display.
