Utilities Tab - Bookmarks - 48x48 - Light Version

Bookmarks are links to paragraphs or pages within the document. Use bookmarks to mark a place in the document, or to jump to a specific destination in the document. A common use for bookmarks is the creation of a table of contents. Click on a bookmark in the list, and be moved systematically to the page or position in the document that the bookmark represents.

Access bookmarks from Utilities on the ribbon toolbar.

Prerequisite:  For the Bookmarks icon to be active, an image must be present in the pVault® Viewer window.

pVault® retains any bookmarks existing within PDF files when they are indexed into the system. Additionally, new bookmarks may be created on other types of documents stored in the pVault® system.

Any document saved in--or emailed out--of pVault® in PDF format automatically has associated bookmarks saved with it. This means all bookmarks are visible by external users viewing the document with an external PDF viewer.
