Barcode scanning eliminates the manual indexing of documents.
Use the Barcode Import feature to read barcodes displaying on internal documents and then systematically index those documents based upon the "reading" of the barcode.
A barcode is data displaying in a form consisting of parallel lines of varying widths and spaces. These barcodes are typically on internal documents such as purchase orders and receiving tickets.
Once the barcodes are read and the documents are indexed, backfills already configured in the system can populate additional fields.
