Sage Paperless Construction includes the robust Indexed-based Document Routing feature.
Prerequisite: Requires the DocRoute™ Module.
With this functionality, rules can be set up that systematically route documents to users when the documents are indexed.
Routing direction rules can vary from specifying specific index values to “All Documents of This Type”.
1.From the ribbon toolbar, click Administration.
2.Click Vaults, .
The Vaults window displays:
3.Click Edit Vault.
The Vault Properties window similar to the following displays with the General tab active:
4.Click the Document Index Routing tab.
The following window displays:
The routing rules are listed in the top Rules pane.
The rule logic is listed in the Description pane.
The recipients and routing sequence are listed in the Recipients pane.
Examples for using the Document Index Routing feature include:
• Route all Vacation Request Forms to the proper manager based on the company or department index value, then on to the HR manager for processing.
• Route all purchase orders for a particular department to a manager.
• Route job photos for a particular job to a group of project managers.
• Route payroll time sheets to the proper reviewers based on job or crew, for approval, then to the payroll processor for entry into the accounting system.
• Route accounts receivable invoices for approval, based upon job index.
