During the installation of the pVault System, the pVault Application Server was installed on the network server where all of the pVault files reside. This application server controls all aspects of document image retrieval and indexing functions. The tool used to configure the application server is called the pVault Application Server Dashboard.
The Application Server Dashboard contains information such as the SQL Server name, the locations for storing the documents and locations for pVault reports, as well as the mechanism used to start and stop the application, job poll and web services which are services that control data throughout the system. Updates to the pVault® system are downloaded and deployed from the Application Server Dashboard.
From the Server Dashboard desktop icon, or the Start Menu on the server, find the Server Dashboard application listed under the Paperless Environments folder.
The pVault APPLICATION SERVER DASHBOARD displays with the SQL SERVER tab active.
