1.From My Paperless, click the My Account icon dropdown in the header, .
2.Select Profile. This will bring up the User Settings.
Note: Once you have your profile photo in place, the My Account icon image is replaced by the profile photo such as this:
3.Click Alerts.
A page similar to the following displays:

2.The Alert Configuration page displays with the GENERAL tab active:
3.In the Alert Name field, enter the name of new alert.
4.In the Alert Type field, use the dropdown to select the type of alert:
Document
Invoice
The Alert Type you select will influence the Alert Trigger field dropdown choices.
5.The Any Document radio button is selected by default. Click the Specific Document radio button if appropriate.
6.If you clicked the Specific Document radio button, a Document ID field will display. Enter the document's identification number. This field is required if Specific Invoice was selected.
7.In the Alert Trigger field (Document Alert Type), use the dropdown to select from any of the following:
•Document Deleted (this is the default)
•Document Note Is Added
•Document Saved
Note: One alert trigger is allowed per alert rule. If you want to have another alert trigger, such as being notified when a user adds a note, you will need to add another alert.
In the Alert Trigger field (Invoice Alert Type), use the dropdown to select from any of the following:
•Invoice Is Approved (this is the default)
•Invoice Is Exported
•Invoice Is Rejected
•Invoice is Routed
Note: One alert trigger is allowed per alert rule. If you want to have another alert trigger, such as being notified when a user exports an invoice, you will need to add another alert.
8.In the Delivery Methods text box, click to select how you want to be notified:
•Email (this is the default)
•System
•Text
Alert email addresses and text numbers are set up in User Settings.

9.Click .
Note: System alerts will display on the My Paperless page. Click here for details.
To delete an alert rule, check the rule(s) in the Alert Grid and click .
The Delete Alert dialog box will display.
Click to delete the alert rule.
